Expert Review

8/10

The Grey Goose Magnum delivers the same supremely elegant French wheat vodka in a 1.75-litre format that makes both practical and theatrical sense. Distilled in Cognac, it remains one of the world's finest vodkas — and the Magnum works out to better per-serve value than the standard bottle.

A reliable pour that won't blow your mind but does the job. The nose has gentle almond — the review is accurate there. The palate gives you star anise, which is fine but a bit safe. I keep reaching for other bottles when I want to sip neat, but for cocktails it's hard to complain. The finish is clean.

One of the most well-crafted vodkas I've tasted. The Refined and inviting promises quality, and the palate delivers with smooth. Nothing feels harsh or out of place. The finish ties it all together. I tried it neat, chilled, and in a Moscow Mule — it shines in all three. The french picardy wheat base gives it a distinctive character. Can't recommend it highly enough.
