My new favourite vodka

Third bottle in and it just gets better. The nose opens with wonderful subtlety — I also picked up delicate notes that the review mentions. On the palate, pepper is spot on, and there's a Smooth and straightforward with gentle grain sweetness that makes this incredibly smooth. The finish closes with dry close and minimal warmth. This has become my go-to. Makes an incredible Martini too.

Still, it's better than many bottles at this price and the vanilla is reasonable. Worth trying at least once, especially in a Martini.

Picked this up after reading the review here and it's everything they said and more. The soft grain drew me in from the first pour. On the palate, Smooth and subtly sweet with Berkshire honey warmth are elegant rather than aggressive — exactly what you want from a quality vodka. The dry resolution is clean and inviting. Makes a brilliant Martini and equally good sipped neat. This will be a permanent fixture on my shelf.

Worth every penny

I was reading the tasting notes in the review and thought they sounded too good to be true for a vodka, but they're accurate. I wanted to like this more than I did. The nose has Complex and layered — salted caramel but on the palate there's a harshness that I wasn't expecting from the review. The Rich and full-bodied described didn't come through for me. The Long and warming with lingering caramel has a burn where I wanted clean warmth. Others clearly rate it highly so it may be personal preference. Won't be buying another bottle though.
