Better than expected

Mixed feelings. On the nose I got the Soft vanilla — that part is nice. But the underlying wheat character didn't match the promise for me. Mid-palate feels a bit thin. Still, it's better than many bottles at this price and the Medium with a lovely fresh is reasonable. Worth trying at least once, especially in a Martini.

Prairie Organic Vodka is outstanding

The nose on this is lovely — I immediately got vanilla and mineral freshness. On the palate, the Pure and unadorned is beautifully done, and the clean and pleasant with gentle sweetness. I agree with the editorial review — this is a seriously impressive vodka. Tried it neat at room temperature first, then chilled from the freezer. Both excellent, but neat at room temp shows off the character better.

Expected more

Not terrible but not worth the premium. The nose promised interesting things and some depth, but the palate is flat and the Medium — flavour lingering pleasantly disappears too quickly. I've had better vodkas at half the price. The Well-balanced — flavour and grain in harmony the review describes wasn't apparent to me. Perhaps I got a bad bottle.

A standout bottle

Tried this side by side with several competitors at a tasting and it stands head and shoulders above them. The nose gives you Clean — subtle grain character and a hint of sweetness — it's immediately apparent this is quality. Then the palate opens up with Smooth — soft grain and the grain character shines through. The Clean and measured — grain fading gently. I've already ordered another bottle. Excellent work from The Smiling Pub Company.

Stunning quality

What a beautifully crafted spirit. The nose gives you clean grain and orchard blossom, and on the palate it's all about refreshing crispness. The mouthfeel is particularly impressive — silky, full, and rewarding. The finish rounds everything off with Clean and short — pear and cool freshness. Anyone who says all vodka tastes the same hasn't tried this. The review here nails it.

A real discovery from an unexpected region

I'd never tried anything from this distillery before and I'm genuinely impressed. Beautiful clarity in the glass, complex aromas of fresh herbs and mineral water, and a palate with wonderful weight and a long, clean finish. There's a subtle earthiness that gives it real personality.

As someone who's been appreciating quality vodka for years, this is among the finest I've encountered at this price point. On the nose I get mineral freshness — let it warm slightly in the glass and the aromas open up. The palate is where it really shines: Excellent value with beautiful texture. LiV-Pol / Pernod Ricard has clearly mastered their craft.

It's a solid vodka. The nose has Fresh pink grapefruit and a floral lift, but on the palate the Elegant and balanced doesn't quite deliver the complexity I was hoping for. The clean grapefruit bitterness with a lingering rye warmth is a bit brief. Still enjoyable though — I keep reaching for it when making cocktails rather than sipping neat.

One of the most well-crafted vodkas I've tasted. The nose promises quality, and the palate delivers with neither too sweet nor too subtle. Nothing feels harsh or out of place. The Medium — flavour lingering pleasantly ties it all together. I tried it neat, chilled, and in a Moscow Mule — it shines in all three. The grain base gives it a distinctive character. Can't recommend it highly enough.
