Nose

Pristine and crystalline, with an almost ethereal quality. The faintest whisper of sweet cream and white pepper. Exceptionally pure.

Palate

Supremely smooth and silky, with an almost liquid-silk texture. Delicate cream, soft grain sweetness, and the merest hint of anise. Flawless.

Finish

Long, warming, and impeccably clean with a gentle peppery warmth.

Elit represents the absolute pinnacle of Stoli's distillation art. The patented freeze-filtration process — cooling the vodka to minus 18 degrees to crystallise and remove impurities — produces a spirit of staggering purity. This three-litre Jeroboam is a statement purchase for those with very large freezers and very good taste.

As someone who's been appreciating quality vodka for years, this is among the finest I've encountered at this price point. On the nose I get Exceptionally pure — let it warm slightly in the glass and the aromas open up. The palate is where it really shines: the merest hint of anise with with an almost liquid-silk texture. Stolichnaya has clearly mastered their craft.
