A vibrant Cornish collaboration between Aval Dor and chef Emily Scott, this citrus vodka marries coastal potato spirit with sun-bright citrus in a supremely well-balanced expression.

Third bottle in and it just gets better. The nose opens with Bright lemon zest and Seville orange peel — I also picked up delicate notes that the review mentions. On the palate, Zesty and vivacious with candied citrus is spot on, and there's a richness that makes this incredibly smooth. The finish closes with clean citrus fade with a warming peppery close. This has become my go-to. Makes an incredible Martini too.

I wanted to like this more than I did. The nose has Bright lemon zest and Seville orange peel but on the palate there's a harshness that I wasn't expecting from the review. The Zesty and vivacious with candied citrus described didn't come through for me. The clean citrus fade with a warming peppery close has a burn where I wanted clean warmth. Others clearly rate it highly so it may be personal preference. Won't be buying another bottle though.

Not terrible but not worth the premium. The nose promised Bright lemon zest and Seville orange peel and some depth, but the palate is flat and the Medium-long disappears too quickly. I've had better vodkas at half the price. The The potato base provides excellent weight the review describes wasn't apparent to me. Perhaps I got a bad bottle.
