A standout bottle
Tried this side by side with several competitors at a tasting and it stands head and shoulders above them. The nose gives you a subtle citrus note — it's immediately apparent this is quality. Then the palate opens up with Smooth and slightly sweet and the corn character shines through. The Short to medium. I've already ordered another bottle. Excellent work from Fifth Generation / Mockingbird Distillery.

On the nose I get a subtle citrus note — let it warm slightly in the glass and the aromas open up. The palate is where it really shines: Smooth and slightly sweet with medium body. Fifth Generation / Mockingbird Distillery has clearly mastered their craft.

Exceptionally smooth with real character
This is exactly what premium vodka should be — clean and smooth on entry but with genuine character underneath. There's a subtle sweetness like fresh bread, a hint of white pepper on the mid-palate, and a finish that's warming without any harshness. Neat or over ice, it's superb.

Better than expected
Mixed feelings. On the nose I got the Clean and slightly sweet with corn — that part is nice. But the Smooth and slightly sweet didn't match the promise for me. Mid-palate feels a bit thin. Still, it's better than many bottles at this price and the clean with gentle corn sweetness is reasonable. Worth trying at least once, especially in a Martini.

A real gem
Picked this up after reading the review here and it's everything they said and more. The vanilla drew me in from the first pour. On the palate, Smooth and slightly sweet are elegant rather than aggressive — exactly what you want from a quality vodka. The clean with gentle corn sweetness is clean and inviting. Makes a brilliant Martini and equally good sipped neat. This will be a permanent fixture on my shelf.

Worth every penny
I was reading the tasting notes in the review and thought they sounded too good to be true for a vodka, but they're accurate. The vanilla is genuinely there, the Smooth and slightly sweet delivers, and the Short to medium is exactly as described. Served this at a tasting with friends last weekend — everyone was surprised how much character it has. We did a blind comparison against two other brands and this won hands down.

Beautifully balanced
One of the most well-crafted vodkas I've tasted. The vanilla promises quality, and the palate delivers with Smooth and slightly sweet. Nothing feels harsh or out of place. The Short to medium ties it all together. I tried it neat, chilled, and in a Moscow Mule — it shines in all three. The corn base gives it a distinctive character. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Expected more
Not terrible but not worth the premium. The nose promised Clean and slightly sweet with corn and vanilla, but the palate is flat and the clean with gentle corn sweetness disappears too quickly. I've had better vodkas at half the price. The Corn sweetness with vanilla undertones and a clean the review describes wasn't apparent to me. Perhaps I got a bad bottle.

The palate gives you Corn sweetness with vanilla undertones and a clean, which is fine but a bit safe. I keep reaching for other bottles when I want to sip neat, but for cocktails it's hard to complain. The Short to medium is clean.

Nice but slightly overpriced
Good quality spirit but slightly overpriced for what it is. The Clean and slightly sweet with corn is the highlight — a subtle citrus note and well-presented. On the palate, the Corn sweetness with vanilla undertones and a clean is fine but not exciting. At $20, I'd expect more character. The Short to medium is pleasant but brief. A reliable mixer.

Good but not great
Decent vodka for the price. The nose is clean — I got the Clean and slightly sweet with corn that the review mentions — but the palate didn't wow me. The medium body is fine but nothing special, and I'd have preferred more character coming through. That said, the clean with gentle corn sweetness is clean enough. Works well in cocktails where you don't need a premium bottle.

Stunning quality
What a beautifully crafted spirit. The nose gives you a subtle citrus note and lovely character, and on the palate it's all about Very approachable. The mouthfeel is particularly impressive — silky, full, and rewarding. The finish rounds everything off with clean with gentle corn sweetness. Anyone who says all vodka tastes the same hasn't tried this. The review here nails it.

My new favourite vodka
Third bottle in and it just gets better. The nose opens with a subtle citrus note — I also picked up vanilla that the review mentions. On the palate, Very approachable is spot on, and there's a medium body that makes this incredibly smooth. The finish closes with clean with gentle corn sweetness. This has become my go-to. Makes an incredible Martini too.
