Tried this side by side with several competitors at a tasting and it stands head and shoulders above them. The nose gives you vanilla — it's immediately apparent this is quality. Then the palate opens up with citrus and the wheat character shines through. The Short. I've already ordered another bottle. Excellent work from Buffalo Trace.

Mixed feelings. On the nose I got the Clean — wheat — that part is nice. But the soft didn't match the promise for me. Mid-palate feels a bit thin. Still, it's better than many bottles at this price and the Short is reasonable. Worth trying at least once, especially in a Martini.
