Stoli Vanil pairs natural vanilla with the Stolichnaya wheat-and-rye base, and the result is a flavoured vodka with noticeably more character than its competitors. The rye grain adds a spicy edge to the vanilla sweetness, creating a more complex flavour profile than vanilla vodkas made from neutral wheat spirit alone.
The nose is warm: genuine vanilla, caramel, and a hint of rye spice. The palate is rich — creamy vanilla, butterscotch, and a grainy warmth that the rye contributes. It is sweeter and richer than plain Stoli, but the spice keeps it honest.
The finish is medium, with vanilla and warming spice. An excellent base for Espresso Martinis where you want the vanilla to have some depth, and for vanilla-forward cocktails where a one-dimensional sweetness would fall flat.
