Dry Fly Vodka — American Wheat Craft from the Pacific Northwest
Wheat 40% ABV ABV Dry Fly DistillingMy new favourite vodka
Third bottle in and it just gets better. The nose opens with a subtle grassy note — I also picked up Buttery and creamy with hints of freshly baked bread that the review mentions. On the palate, sweet cereal grains is spot on, and there's a soft butter that makes this incredibly smooth. The finish closes with Medium. This has become my go-to. Makes an incredible Martini too.
Nice but slightly overpriced
Good quality spirit but slightly overpriced for what it is. The Buttery and creamy with hints of freshly baked bread is the highlight — gentle vanilla and well-presented. On the palate, the sweet cereal grains is fine but not exciting. At £41.50, I'd expect more character. The Medium is pleasant but brief. A reliable mixer.
